    Description

    Our Key Stage 3 Computing curriculum is fully aligned with the National Curriculum for England, ensuring that students build core knowledge and skills across computer science, digital literacy and information technology. Over the three years (Years 7–9), pupils study units such as Scratch and Python programming, networks, systems architecture, cybersecurity, data science and physical computing.     Course Content:

    • Vector graphics (media)
    • Layers of computing systems
    • Web development (HTML/CSS)
    • Data representation (“clay to silicon”)
    • Mobile app development (block-based)
    • Introduction to Python coding
    • Python programming with sequences of data
    • Animations and media creation
    • Data science techniques
    • Advanced representations (audio/visual)
    • Cyber security fundamentals
    • Physical computing with micro:bit or similar

    Cost: £1000 per year, payable in 10 monthly instalments of £100.00.
