    Description

    The Year 10 program at Stewards is designed for students aged 14 to 16, offering a comprehensive educational experience that integrates academic excellence with personal and spiritual growth. This program lays the essential groundwork for successful IGCSE examination preparation, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and ethical development.

    Morning Dhikr: Each day begins with morning dhikr, fostering mindfulness and God consciousness. This practice sets a positive tone for the day, enhancing focus and spiritual well-being.

    Core Academic Subjects:

    • IGCSE English Language: This course enhances advanced reading, writing, and communication skills, ensuring students develop strong linguistic abilities vital for academic success.
    • IGCSE Mathematics: Our curriculum strengthens numeracy, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills, preparing students for higher-level mathematical concepts.
    • IGCSE Science: Providing a robust foundation in scientific principles, critical thinking, and practical application, essential for future scientific endeavors.

    Islamic Art (Silver Award): This course encourages further exploration of Islamic artistic traditions, fostering creativity, and cultural appreciation. Students gain a deeper understanding of the rich heritage and techniques of Islamic art.

    DeVice (First Year): This innovative course empowers students to take control of their digital device usage. Through engaging activities, discussions, and coaching, students learn to use technology wisely and develop effective time management skills.

    Arabic Level 2 (IGCSE Arabic Year 1): Building on prior knowledge, this course enhances fluency and comprehension in the Arabic language, preparing students for advanced Arabic studies.

    Character Building: Interactive sessions focus on Aqidatul Awaam, Seerah, Jurisprudence (Fiqh), and life coaching. This course promotes moral and ethical development, helping students internalise Islamic values and apply them in their daily lives.

    IGCSE English Literature: This in-depth literary study course fosters a love for reading and critical analysis, enhancing students’ appreciation for diverse literary works.

    Parental Collaboration: This period encourages parents to engage their children in community activities and prophetic sports such as horse riding, archery, wrestling, and sewing. Stewards organises nationwide enrichment courses to support this collaboration, enabling a strong home-school partnership.

    Cost: £4300 per year, payable in 10 monthly instalments of £430.00

    Requirements

    • Age Requirement: Students must be between 14 and 16 years old at the start of the program.
    • Completion of KS3: Successful completion of Key Stage 3 or an equivalent educational level.
    • Commitment to Learning: Demonstrated willingness to engage in rigorous academic study and personal development.
    • Parental Involvement: Active parental participation is required for the Parental Collaboration component.
