This competition offers a unique opportunity for reciters to showcase their mastery of the Holy Qur’an through beautiful recitations, evaluated on clarity, fluency, and overall delivery.

- Category E: 5 Juz’u—Juz Ahqaf-Nas

Eligibility:
- Open to all students and community members. Every child who wants to participate must register.
- Participants are advised to select the category that matches the surahs they have memorised. If they don’t, they will be moved to the category that fits their appropriate level according to the maximum amount of Quran they have memorised.
Requirements:
- Participants are hereby encouraged to avoid cheating from the web or Quran, as this is a test of how much they’ve memorised.
- Participants are also advised to have a very good audio-visual and likewise stable internet connection in a quiet environment.
Judging Criteria: Participants will be evaluated based on pronunciation, rhythm, fluency, and overall delivery.
The Judges:
- Abdul Azeem Asiwaju Sulayman: Abdul Azeem Asiwaju Sulayman is a final-year undergraduate student in the Department of Shariah at King Abdulaziz University. Abdul Azeem currently ranks top in his class for the academic session. Having memorised the entire Quran at a young age in Surulere, Lagos State, he blends academic excellence with commitment to mentorship. Beyond his academic achievements, he guides and inspires others on their Quranic journeys as a dedicated mentor and a renowned tutor at Basmad Learning.
- Abdur Rahman Daud: Abdur Rahman Daud memorised the Holy Quran with perfect “tajwid” and a remarkably eloquent voice in 2018 and completed his Hifz in northern Nigeria – a region renowned for its rich Quranic heritage. Recognised for his excellence, he has won multiple awards in Quran memorisation competitions in Nigeria and Saudi Arabia. Currently, he is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering at the prestigious Islamic University of Madinah. Abdur Rahman is also known for his calm, soft-hearted demeanour and deep reverence for the Quran, qualities that inspire peers and competitors alike.
- Ahmad Abdul-Majeed: Ahmad Abdul-Majeed has a Diploma in Arabic from King Abdul Aziz University in Saudi Arabia and is currently an undergraduate student studying Physics at the same university. A Hafiz of the Hifs Qira’a, Ahmad memorised Al Quran at Inaayatullah International Academy, Iwo, Osun State, Nigeria. (2012-2016). He has been teaching the Quran to children for over 5 years and is dedicated to seeing young ones achieve their goals of memorising the Quran.
