Head of School

Hind Adeagbo

Hind is a Co-founder and Head of Stewards.ONE online school. She is an experienced educator and certified coach with teaching experience in UK and US primary/middle schools.

Holding a BA in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, Hind combines her scientific expertise with a decade of supporting women as a doula, childbirth educator, and breastfeeding specialist.

A mother of seven, Hind brings practical experience of family dynamics to enable better education outcomes for families.

Science

Saima Khan

Saima Khan is a home educator for the past 12 years with a passion for helping students aim high and achieve at a high standard.

She has over 6 years experience teaching and tutoring KS3 Science and Maths, IGCSE Maths, IGCSE Physics and Chemistry and the pupils she has worked with have achieved 8/9's on their exams.

Saima is a graduate of Chemistry with Industrial Experience (2005) from the University of Manchester and has acquired a Masters of Chemistry (MChem) 2.1 with honours from the same institution.

Qur'an Memorisation

Shoaib Mahmoud

Shoaib Mahmud is a dedicated Qur'an and Arabic educator, Islamic scholar, and translator with a strong academic foundation from Al-Azhar University

A Hafidh of the Qur'an, he brings both depth of knowledge and lived practice to his teaching.

Alongside his teaching, Shoaib has served as an Imam and Khatib in Egypt and Bangladesh, leading prayers, delivering sermons, and providing guidance to both youth and adults. Fluent in multiple languages and skilled in digital learning tools, he is committed to helping students develop fluency in Qur'an and Arabic, good character, and a strong connection to their faith and language.

Biology

Angela Wood

Angel teaches Biology to KS3 students and Biology, Human Biology and Marine Science to KS4 students

Her KS3 class cover the National Curriculum syllabus, whilst KS4 sessions work towards an International GCSE.

Angel has an honours degree in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. Following university, she worked as a Cancer Research Technician gaining practical experience before embarking on her teaching career.

Islamic Jurisprudence

Muhammad Wright

Born in Evanston, IL and raised in Doha, Qatar, Ustadh Wright began his journey in the Islamic sciences by memorising the Qur'an during high school in the recitation of Ḥafṣ.

Ustadh Muhammad was then blessed to travel to Marrakech, Morocco, for intensive Arabic study, and later to Egypt and Senegal to continue his studies in Arabic and the Islamic sciences.

He holds ijāzāt in Mālikī fiqh texts such as al-Akhdarī and al-ʿAshmāwiyyah, as well as in the recitations of Ḥafṣ, Warsh, and Sūsī. Alongside his Islamic scholarship, Ustadh Muhammad holds certification in ITIL Foundation, reflecting his diverse interest in learning and capability building. At Stewards.ONE, he plays a key role in shaping students' understanding of Fiqh, helping them move beyond memorisation to true comprehension, reflection, and lived practice.

Islamic Arts & Design

Halima Bashir

Calligrapher and Artist with a focus on West African calligraphy, art and craft. Graduated from The Prince's Foundation School of Traditional Arts with a distinction in Masters in Arts.

Halima is currently pursuing her PhD in Islamic Art in the same University. In parallel Halima has studied with master Arabic calligraphers from the UAE, China and England in Riqa'a, Thuluth and Sudani scripts.

She also studied classical Latin scripts Copperplate, Italic and Uncial scripts. Lives in Reading,UK, married with 3 children.

Arabic Language

Khalid Tetuani

English lecturer, academic coordinator, Arabist, translator, and Arabic grammar specialist with over ten years' teaching experience.

He currently resides in Al-Ahsa, Saudi Arabia, where he has lived since 2016.

An alumni of University College London, Abu Nayef is also a freelance translator specialising in Arabic-English translation.

Mathematics

Aysha Mayat

Dynamic secondary educator with over 15 years' experience in KS3 and KS4 Mathematics and Art.

Specialising in KS3 and KS4 Mathematics and Art, Aysha is adept at designing and delivering engaging, inclusive, and differentiated lessons that inspire a love of learning and consistently drive pupil progress.

Aysha brings practical experience of mathematics teaching to enable better outcomes for students.
